Description:

The Office of the Dean for Students is dedicated to promoting and advocating student success through engagement and involvement in a learning centered environment. We facilitate learning by serving as an initial point of reference for all students and advocating and articulating the needs and concerns for all students, promote learning in and out of the classroom, respond to emergency situations, and continuously provide opportunities to engage students to enhance the university community. The Dean collaborates with faculty and staff to support the academic mission, with particular emphasis on the total learning environment.

Mission:

The mission of the Dean for Students and related entities at the University of South Florida is to support student learning and development through community building, advocacy, and student engagement.
